I hired Squeaky Cleaning to do a deep clean of my condo before a new tenant was to move in. The company itself is very easy to communicate with, friendly, and very prompt at answering questions and confirming my appointment. Was looking for a last-minute move-in cleaning, and booked Master Maid because they had a quick online booking system. Elena arrived within the 2 hour window provided – I would have appreciated more clarity about precise ETA as the text I received did not specify, but as I live close, it was fine. She did not speak much English so we had to communicate creatively, but she did fantastic job of cleaning everything I showed her. She was thorough and meticulous with every corner of the apartment! I really appreciated that cleaners largely bring their own supplies, but I would have liked to know in advance that supplies like stools would need to be provided by the client (she couldn’t reach all the surfaces as she hadn’t brought a stool, but did a great job on the ones she could reach)

I paid for the deep clean and additional for pet hair removal. Pet hair removal was not done very well, and we do regular pet hair removal ourselves with the top of the line Dyson. So we were surprised to see major areas of cat and dog hair when we paid extra specifically to remove them.
This was our first time using Enjoy, and they did a reasonable job overall. Because we paid extra for pet hair removal and because there were major and obvious places where it wasn’t done, I wouldn’t use Enjoy again for this particular service. One cleaner was nice, the other reasonable. I definitely didn’t feel that it was the deep clean we also paid extra for. I recently utilized the move-in cleaning service and requested it urgently. The person who answered the phone was friendly, and I received a quote of $160 for two people.
On the day of the cleaning, I received a call from the person in charge, asking if I could buy a bucket from Home Depot for her. This seemed odd as I expected the company to come prepared. To my surprise, only one person arrived for the cleaning, despite being told that two would come. She was not dressed appropriately for cleaning, wearing a tight dress.
This being my first time using the service, I tried to overlook these issues, but the cleaning was far from professional. She did not bring suitable cleaning supplies and used kitchen detergent to clean the bathroom and kitchen. When struggling to clean the bathtub, she suggested replacing it, which was perplexing.
Observing her makeshift cleaning methods, such as using her nails because of the lack of proper tools, made me question if I was receiving service from a reputable company.
When it came time to pay, I inquired about the discrepancy in the number of cleaners. The woman cleaning expressed discomfort, and shortly after, the person I initially spoke to called me, stating that due to my urgent request, I had to pay the same amount even though only one person came.
