I moved into a new area therefore needed to look for a new go to salon in order to tone a dye job I had done previously. I came across Alecia’s Beauty Salon and their reviews. The ladies at this salon are very nice but I don’t think they have much experience with natural hair, especially cutting it. I went in with curly hair mid back length and asked for a couple inches off. My hair was chopped off and layered very unevenly. It was a mess with very short pieces in the front and random long pieces. I had to go back and try to get it fixed. It’s all one length now but much shorter than I wanted. If my hair needed to be straightened to be cut evenly that should have been communicated. I think this place is best suited for braids, weaves etc. [S Y]
She is soooo rude , I had an appointment for haircut and after cutting my hair was even and when I left her store my family and my friends saw me and they told me why your hair is not even?! And when we back to her salon again she was so rude and yelled at me and didn’t fix again and I left her store , and store is not clean it is so dirty and messy , I never back there and never recommend, and when she was on my hair she was taking on the phone. After chatting with a different hairstylist two months prior, I showed up and they couldn’t do the style so they walked me to Brook-Lynn who accepted to help even though they were booked and in between their clients they helped, made me feel comfortable, and most of all were still tedious about the details and process for my happiness, I’m grateful for them and will book to complete the look, at least they weren’t afraid of my hair or me being a cavewoman 🤣 thank you so much.. some before and after pics attached ~ the wait to meet you is worth it~ cheers [Aunty Nita]

Went here during a March winter storm, and it was worth it! Mai was so professional, and she did her best to make sure she clearly understood what I wanted for my haircut. I couldn’t find the picture of the haircut i wanted on my phone, so i just described it to her, and she googled it for me and showed me pictures for her reference. My haircut was just what I imagined. Love it! 😍
