The nice couple who owns this store truly love what they do and they love the fur babies. Even after moving to Aurora I’d drive all the way to groom my dog here. We have been going to Ursula’s Grooming Loft for almost a year now and we’ve always had a pleasant experience. My dog is quite shy and is an introvert. She gets very frightened easily as well but with Ursula and her groomers, she trusts them. I really like that once Mocha is done grooming, she is able to play with toys and roam around. With other groomers, they are put into crates and my dog did not have a good experience with that. I brought my 5-month old kitten to Ursula for a full groom (bath, de-shedding, drying, nail clipping, ear cleaning, and sanitary trim). Ursula and her team were fantastic – professional, efficient, and so sweet to my kitty. Not only did my kitty look and smell great afterward (her fur is so soft and shiny!) but she was comfortable enough to want to explore at the end of it. A++ service, the grooming and skills are perfect. Jasmine always does a great job with an eye for styling! Our dog is well groomed, cleaned and super happy. We heard that Jasmine did a great job for dogs scared of the grooming session, which is exactly reflecting our cockapoo, thus we decided to give it a try 2 years since we got our puppy and we’ve always been going back since! Booked an appointment for my kitten to get the tiger cut. When picking her up, they told me they cut her with a razor and it was just a ‘’minor cut.’’ It was a long cut on her front leg. The groomer did not even come out to apologize nor explain how it happened. I DO NOT recommend this place at all. Even the actual cut was patchy. [Suzy]
I love this place! My dog got banned from petsmart a couple of years ago because he was “suicidal” lol like what.. anyway. This place always does an amazing job with him and leaves him looking super cute. Rounded paws and face with a fluffy and beautiful coat. I have been taking my dog to Fur Bar for the last year or so and they always take amazing care of my dog, leaving her with a beautiful groom that lasts and grows out nicely. My dog is a bit anxious at the groomers but I know they make her feel comfortable and safe here and always ensure she is placed with a groomer she feels comfortable with (she doesn’t do well with male groomers, and in the past other places have disrespected this). The communication from the staff here is 10/10 and I never feel like my dog is forgotten. It was our first time to put our dogs in daycare. My girlfriend was worried at first as she doesn’t know how our dogs will react. I have been sending my dog Daisy to this daycare for over a year now, she absolutely loves it. She still screams with excitement every morning when we pull onto the drive way. The staff are amazing and Daisy comes home nice and tired. If I could give a million stars to Diane, I would. To say that Diane is an amazing groomer who handles all of her pets with love and care is an understatement. Not only is she a wonderful groomer, she is an amazing human being with the kindest soul you will meet.
I’ve brought my Loki to her various times, and she has been nothing but wonderful to him. She always gives Loki compliments, calling him a good boy and a sweet pea, and he’s always been so good with her. I also have had some nice chats with Diane during these grooming sessions, instead of sitting in silence as I wait for her to finish. The last time that I brought him he had a seizure before she could begin. I would like to emphasize that Diane did NOTHING wrong to my baby, the seizure was unrelated to anything with the grooming. I was confused and scared, as Loki is my baby. However, Diane immediately rushed us to the ER vet where Loki was attended to and treated. She was by my side throughout the whole time, offering me words of encouragement and support as I panicked. Diane drove me home, and when I was able to pick Loki up the next day, she offered us a ride there and back.
The kindness that Diane showed me that day is something that is very rare today in our day and age. I do not have any family members living close to me, and to be frank I would not know what to do if this happened if I was alone. Diane had also offered to come to my place and give Loki his future grooming to make it less stressful for him. If you are looking for a groomer who has genuine love and care for your pets, Diane is the one!

Just stopped in without an appointment to get my cat’s nails shortened (usually I don’t need an appointment, and they take walk-ins which I appreciate. Today they were busy so they asked if I could come back in about a half hour. I agreed, and went on with my day. When I came back, the guy told me, they were now “on break” and that I have to come back again after they were done eating. It was 2:30pm in the afternoon. I asked if they could please take my cat like they said they would and possibly finish up their lunch afterwards (the nails usually take about 10 minutes) – the guy said “NO”. I said, “this is already the second time I’ve come back now, and you told me you’d be available in a half hour, are you willing to lose a customer over this? over finishing up your lunch? The guy said. “Yes” so I left. I’m sure the owner of this small business isn’t going to be too pleased after hearing what happened. I have no problem working around people’s schedules, and am flexible, but this was the second time coming back to the store, plus they told me when I walked in the first time, they could take my cat in half hour. Not very professional in my opinion, and certainly not the best “choice” to make for a small business that probably relies on word of mouth and customer satisfaction to grow their business. I have never had a problem before, and was always very happy with their services and results. I will be looking for a new place to take my cat now. Parker Pet Care came highly recommended to us. We did not know how good they are until our boxer dog, Roxxy, stayed at the North York location for lodging. Roxxy has never been away from us for an extended period of time and therefore we were very particular in who we would want to care for her. We had a trial day and that went great. The staff are wonderful and really care about what they do. They are very professional and answer any questions promptly. The facility is great. There are several packages to choose from to suit each doggos’ needs. While we were away, they sent many photos and gave us a report card for our Roxxy. We felt at ease knowing she was settling in very well, she was happy and playing with staff friends and dog friends. They cared for her so well. Wow…what a wonderful all-around experience!
The staff at Parker’s were so friendly and yet totally professional. It was obvious that everyone was passionate about their work – all of my questions were answered and explained clearly. No assumptions were made and even information regarding the questions that I did not ask were addressed. From the booking to the drop off to picking up my baby, I was nothing but comfortable knowing that my “little girl” was in good and caring hands. Clearly the Parker people know what’s important. I loved the report card (spot on) and the follow-up advice. At the end of Beanie’s stay, it was obvious that she had had a wonderful experience at “doggy camp” filled with kindness, caring, stimulation, and love.
