Main Event Music made our wedding an UNFORGETTABLE celebration! From the moment we first heard them at a friend’s wedding, we knew that we had to have them for our own special day–and boy, did they EXCEED EXPECTATIONS!
The HIGH ENERGY that Main Event Music brought to our wedding was nothing short of phenomenal. Their performance was not just music; it was an experience that had everyone on their feet. The band’s ABILITY TO ENGAGE WITH THE AUDIENCE was extraordinary! What set them apart was their willingness to step onto the dance floor and engage with our guests, teaching them moves and deepening their musical experience! We were also impressed by the LEVEL OF TALENT of the band members. My husband and I recently got married here at YMG2 on Feb 18. We didn’t do the traditional route newly engaged couples do by touring venues, but rather booked YMG based solely on what we saw on instagram alone. Back in Nov 2021, when we initially signed the contract we worked with Isaac, and as 2022 came I wasn’t informed that the venue manager I was working with changed. But let me just say that Samir is a gem. He was so helpful and even went so far as to giving us tips on how to save on costs. He even gave me his personal number so it would be easier to reach him. He honestly went above and beyond for us and we are so incredibly happy with everything he did for us and how our wedding turned out. The food was AMAZING – the apps during cocktail hour, the pasta for our 1st course, the main and the dessert! even the late night stations were amazing as well! Our guests kept commenting on how the food is on the top of their list of good venue food. The staff were all so sweet! The servers kept asking if we wanted anything, and would grab us drinks from the bar since my Husband and I were on the other side of the room. My only regret is that I left the table for a little too long and my plate was gone (but that’s not the venue’s fault as I know I left just a small piece I wanted to finish haha). The energy of the bartenders was top tier! They were having fun with us and vibing with all of the guests. Shoutout to Suri!!! I loved her! She even looked out for me and handed me water shots instead when I asked (haha).
One of the things I loved most was the freedom of how everything was set up – from which table was placed where, where the dj was placed, the late night stations etc. – even the reception area I had freedom to pick where to place everything. I also loved the large video screen in the reception area, many guests commented how they never saw that before! And lastly when staff brought food and drinks to our bridal suite without us even asking – that was such a kind gesture when we were just taking a breather and soaking everything in.
My husband and I are incredibly happy with having picked YMG2 as our wedding venue – the price, the overall aesthetics of the brick and white walls, the bar and food options, the best hospitality from all of their staff and having Samir there with us guiding us through it all.
I’m still thinking about the beef dinner we had, and my husband is still thinking about the dessert he didn’t get to touch!! Hahaha.

I got married here in October of 2022 and I’m so happy I did! The experience was incredible and my guests were blown away by the food, atmosphere and everything. I couldn’t have done it without the help of Samir, he was so incredibly helpful and stayed late on some days to accommodate a few requests. He was very transparent and ensured that everything ran smoothly. Thank you Samir for all your patience and assistance!
On the day of, the staff made us feel so special and welcome and kept bringing us appetizers and drinks to our private sweet – I really appreciated that.
I will also like to give a shout-out to the bartender that was present on our day, I can’t recall her name but she was truly a gem and the guests loved her! All of the staff were so kind and professional and my guests gave me multiple compliments saying that they’ve never had such kind servers at an event before. Along with this, the food from Catertrendz was absolutely delicious and I’m still getting compliments to this day. Don’t hesitate to book here, the space is beautiful and it was unlike any other venue I’ve been to.

We went to Nuvo for a birthday celebration and for a deal online that was around $50 and included the magic show, dinner, popcorn and a welcome shot. When we arrived we weren’t sure what to expect because the plaza is a little misleading! Once we opened the doors we were absolutely WOWed and saw this amazing decorated themed venue. The light of word signs were adorable around the restaurant and the stage was right in the middle with booths all around. The show was spectacular and the food was amazing too. Once the entertainment ended the venue opened as a club and the manager let us stay and enjoy our drinks while the club crowd came in. Went with family for the illusion show. The food and drinks were good and they give you a free shot and cheesecake dessert. Service was also excellent and attentive. The only star I would take off is for the music, it was a bit too loud and when we bought the tickets we were not aware this is inside a night club. The music they play is just as loud as the night club. Very hard to hear the others around you at times especially if you are coming with older grandparents/parents. The show was okay, parts of it were entertaining but did not really the script, was a bit cheesy but still recommend trying it out! I also enjoyed the fire show and the washrooms were very clean. Lots of parking a a available. I recommend coming here for a good meal with some slightly corny entertainment on the side. [J C]
This club doesn’t look nice from the outside but it’s way nicer inside! Plus, the magic show was awesome! Eddie (the magician) was not only fun, but amazing, skilled, and different! And the show was really cool and what an amazing family time we spent there! I definitely recommend it! Service was 5 stars!
