I’ve dealt with this company a number of times.
I have found the owner to be very personable, knowledgeable, and helpful. I find the long-winded bad review really hard to believe.[Max Boutin]
I called to get some information on a snow blower that I was having problems with and right off the bat the owner John told me that the minimum cost would be $150 not including parts or anything. He sounded extremely arrogant and had no customer service what so ever. He literally told me that even for him just to look at my machine it’s $80 and the prices would go up from there. He’s in the business to clearly make a buck off his customers and not to help them with their issues. Stay far away from businesses like these. I spoke to others who have dealt with this company and I have heard nothing but negative stuff. Also for a business who has been around for 20+ years how do they only have a few reviews? Looks like he re-branded his company to get rid of all the bad reviews. Also here’s another story….one of their former customers who is a close friend of mine had a snow blower that wouldn’t start and John started with his whole sales tactics stating it likely needed a carburetor clean and rebuild etc because the unit was not getting any fuel. My friend actually had a brand new carburetor installed but John refused to listen to him. John wanted to charge him nearly $250 and finally my friend decided to take his machine elsewhere and the other shop determined it was a $5 part which was the issue. Yes it was simply a clogged fuel filter which was causing his blower not to receive any fuel. Unbelievable what lengths these guys go to scare people into making them pay high fees for useless work. Pure rip offs I will be posting this all over social Media. Try calling for general information for yourself and you’ll see how John sounds annoyed like he doesn’t want to listen to you unless you want to drop your machine off and let him charge you whatever he wants.[Jason Garbut]
