We rented this venue on a weekend day for a Celebration of Life and it was the perfect spot. We had lots of room for mingling and enough seating for those who needed it. There is a kitchen that allowed us to have food and drinks available to our guests and the bright and comfortable space made it a very pleasant atmosphere. We were able to play our own music over the in-house speakers, there was a TV available to have a slideshow playing on and plenty of washrooms so no one really had to wait.
Working with Sade to book the space was seamless and they were very helpful in making sure our day went as we wanted and expected it to.

This has been a true find for me. Thinktank Workspace is modern and airy and just the right size. I find space and time to be on my own and get work done. Parking is easy and right outside. Thinktank has facilities such as meeting room, photocopiers, and a kitchen area. What I like best (other than the cool design) is non-distraction. The other members are friendly and while we mostly keep to ourselves with our heads down on our own projects, the easy comfort is there to share the space.
As I write this, we are still in a pandemic and so Thinktank has had to make changes (reasonable) to keep everyone safe.

Receptionist was incredibly rude. I had my brother visit Toronto for the holidays and we were looking for a co-working space he could peacefully work remote. I called their phone line to confirm if a 1-day drop-in work day was possible. The gentleman on the phone was lovely and assured us we can do a 1-day drop in at the office. Upon arriving the receptionist was very rude and she didn’t want to help (as if he was bothering her). It was explained that we called and only came because we were told it was possible.
Bottom line — it’s fine that the service wasn’t possible (we understand). But it didn’t have to be said so rudely. Terrible customer service![M A]

I’ve been a client at Zemlar since the pandemic. They are a great value for money. They are courteous and mostly clean and prompt. Offices are quiet and it is possible to be very productive there.
Not many amenities other than an 8-person conference room and a kitchen/breakroom with a fridge and Keurig machine, but that might be enough for most people.
The only downside is that they are not prompt enough with service requests. I am constantly reminding them to restock their kitchen with dishwashing liquid or soap.
Also, they were not descaling the coffee machine at all. So I bought vinegar and did it myself a couple of times. But on the 3rd time, I noticed a cockroach sneak out and back in!
To Zemlar’s credit, they immediately threw out that Keurig machine and got a brand new one. Whether they are in the practice of regularly descaling the new one, I am unaware. They don’t post a cleaning schedule.
Also, they say they clean out the fridge every Friday, but there are some things that have been there for several months, if not years.
I find that I have to consistently remind them to do certain routine maintenance tasks. They should be more proactive.[Umair Hoodbhoy]
